Solved Cant 1st time install BNS Buddy

Hello

I recently ran into some pc troubles and was forced to clean install Windows - Thus losing everything.

The updater just wont allow me to download the newest version.

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is or what i am doing wrong here.

is it purely because the "Online Version" is offline - or is it my fault?

- I used https://www.bnsbuddy.com/download/ to get the latest updater
- Followed the 3 steps below in the image - Even added exceptions in my firewall for the updater's process
- Tried everything relevant in https://www.bnsbuddy.com/index.php?threads/common-errors-and-possible-fixes.39/
- Did a file scan to repair any missing files

Please advise me

Please try a VPN, make sure you don't have the antivirus blocking the connection, reboot your router and all those basic network stuffs you do when network isn't working.

Oh, and try to flush the DNS.

And that's all you can do.

Flushing DNS didn't work. found proton and that has fixed the problem.
Must be something in my network settings (Not sure what though).

You're welcome.

Usually it is because of the ISP, but it isn't always the case.

It's good to know it is working correctly after using a VPN.
It's bad because it really is something between you and BnSBuddy.

I would try to manually add the DNS 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1, and see how it goes on the next time you try to use the updater.
