If you don't want to use the replacement launcher, don't use BnSBuddy.
The login code was made by the same person, for both.

If you don't trust one, you can't trust the other.

If he said to do it, trust him!

Would'nt be a problem if the project was on github , or saved online.
You can still "reverse" the .exe and update it, what i've done.

It is a problem, because it isn't signed.

You can't sign it without having the private keys.
You can't distribute it to the updater if the certificate doesn't match.

Not for me. This last one is the only one doing that. You mentioned code can be decompiled. It's not something I have ever done but would be interested to go through the code out of curiosity. Judging from the looks, I am guessing it is written in C#?

Yes, all in c# for .net 4.5.

The false positives happened with the replacement launcher.
