replacing JinF (warlock) basic animations (idle,walking,running,sprinting) with Yun's this video shows good example

already searched up and down for an animation swap mod, but there's really nothing out there. the person from the OP video didn't release it

for the dat editor part, i decompiled xml64.dat but i'm still not sure what i'm looking at, sorry...

You are looking at xml files, with xml code.
It won't be useful for you if you aren't planning on messing manually with xml values from the game.
Or if you don't know xml.

For that, just use addons.
They do everything automatically!
