Open error 1002

the game was running perfectly till I tried using the XML addons, not it keeps showing me the error message

"Invalid game client file. Please update the game client or reinstall(1002)"

You have 2 options.
Both require you to enable the plugin manager.

1. Install the bnspatch plugin
   Click the "bnspatch" button in the addon manager
   
   
2. Install the bnsnogg plugin
   Install the 0paksigbypass plugin

Option 2 is required for mods.
You can mix both to have all addons be applied by bnspatch and and have the other plugins for the mods.

I've already tried that, but it didn't work, however it seems to be working now after I deleted the mods from the paks folder, didn't try the addons though

I reset everything one thing at a time to see where the problem was, although I started with the bns buddy, it only worked when I removed the mods folder

I've already tried that, but it didn't work, however it seems to be working now after I deleted the mods from the paks folder, didn't try the addons though

can u tell me how to delete the mods from paks folder because i don't know where to find it .

Just go to C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSOFT\BnS_UE4\BNSR\Content\Paks and delete the folder called Mods.

If your game is in another directory, you should go there and just follow the folders.

You can find the path to your game in the launcher or in BnsBuddy buddy in the Settings tab.
