He could try to check if there is another ID for that skill, cause there are skills that have a few more IDs beside the one noted in skillbook. Anything between the skill's ID and the skill with the closest ID can be a copy of the skill you're looking for.

Try moving your client folder from "Program Files (x86)" to "Program Files". This did the job for alot of people.

Variation ID represents the move that you choose in your skill tree and if you have hongmoon skill or not. For example, for warlock variation was: Ice - 1X (x is the move you use) or 5X if you have the hongmoon skill Shadow - 2X or 6X
