I'm really sorry.

It kinda sounded like you were accusing BnSBuddy of doing one of the impossible things.
It has been accused of:

Crashing the game
Disconnecting from the network, when the game is running
Hurting the performance of the game
Breaking files
Messing with game files (excluding addons)
Using undocumented arguments that cause stability issues (like if the game was very stable)
Locking the game in 20-30fps (blame Nvidia)
Uninstalling Google Chrome (you read it right)
Probably some other bizarre shit that I don't remember

I would recommend you to prepare your xigncode log file (located in the game folder), send the clientconfiguration.xml and that log file to them and tell them what's going on, cause I have no idea.

Try changing the permissions of the folder, so they have all users with full access to all files in the BnS folder, in the Documents.

can't rly change anything there (all the 3 users are the same)

It was the wrong file all along. There's another folder for these settings. Best hopes.
